KNOW ME BETTER

Have you ever imagined in seclusion, the world around you? What do you see? All you can behold is the world of your possessions. Everything in your room or your surrounding is staring back at you. They don't want you to do anything with them. All they do is grab your attention...stimulate your vision and occupy space in your environment.

Among many things in your room, some are dear to you and some are there just from the very beginning. But have you ever tried to know them? When I say knowing them, it means knowing them inside out. How they function, materially and metaphorically? What they mean to you? What shape and size they have? Sometimes knowing them closely can give you insight of yourself only. It is always not necessary to get opinions about oneself from others. Sometimes it can be judged from what ever you possess. So this small project of mine 'Know me better' is actually a conversation between myself and the objects in my room. They are always there every time when I was having fun or going through hard time. They share my existence and I felt worthwhile to know them in a different way. It is like playing a visual game with oneself and trying to ask myself whether or not those objects share same emotional attachment with myself.
